Therapy Near You in Georgetown, In Person or Online
From Sun City retirees to Southwestern University students, Georgetown covers a wide range of life stages, and a good therapist in Georgetown should fit yours. Our closest office is in North Austin, a drive down I-35 and MoPac. Because of that distance, many Georgetown clients meet with us by video, which we offer anywhere in Texas.
Matching here is done by a person, not a search filter. Our client care team asks about your history and your availability, then picks a therapist and books you in, often within days. We see clients 7 days a week, which helps if weekday mornings are already spoken for.

Testimonial:
Great experience with staff and Kim. Kim helped us quickly through innumerable difficult teen and college transitions through the years. As a parent herself and background in education counseling she was able to bond with our daughter and gave us exceptional advice and insight into the issues we were having. Could not recommend her enough!

Mostly online, in person when it helps
The drive to North Austin is long enough that most Georgetown clients do the bulk of their work through online counseling. They come into the office for things that work better face to face, such as play therapy for young kids or psychological testing.
For older adults, video sessions can mean no driving after dark and no parking hassle. If you’ve never used video calls, our team can help you test the setup before your first session. Your therapist stays the same whichever way you meet.
From college students to retirees
Southwestern University students can fit a video session between classes from a private room on campus. College stress often looks like homesickness, or panic before exams.
Retirement brings its own changes. Losing a spouse or close friend, or simply losing the structure of a workday, can hit harder than people expect, and our grief counseling can help.
For Georgetown ISD parents, our child and teen therapists meet online or at the office.

Georgetown Therapy FAQs
Do you have a Georgetown office?
Not in Georgetown itself. Our closest location is in North Austin, roughly 30 to 40 minutes south depending on traffic. Most Georgetown clients meet online and come in only when a service calls for it.
I’m retired and not comfortable with technology. Can I still do online therapy?
Yes. Video sessions work on a laptop, tablet or smartphone, and our team can help you test the connection before your first appointment. Many older adults around Georgetown find it easier than driving into Austin.
Can Southwestern University students see a Just Mind therapist?
Yes, as long as you’re in Texas during sessions. Students often meet online from a private room on campus. If you’re on a parent’s insurance, our team can help you see whether it’s a plan we accept.
Do you offer grief counseling?
We do. Several of our therapists focus on grief, whether the loss is a person or a way of life you’ve left behind, like a career or a longtime home. Sessions can be online or in person.
Is there a waitlist?
Usually not. Most new clients start within a few days of contacting us. Call 512-843-7665 or fill out the form online, and a member of our client care team takes it from there.
What payment options do you have?
We take Sana, Harbor Health, Aetna, Curative, Nomi Health and EHN. Self-pay sessions cost $145 to $215 depending on the clinician, and we can provide a superbill if you want to file with an out-of-network plan.
