If you would rather talk about what is hard in Spanish, you can. Just Mind Counseling has Spanish-speaking therapists in Austin who see clients in person in North Austin and Westlake, and online anywhere in Texas.
Some people want every session in Spanish. Others switch back and forth depending on the topic or who is in the room. Both are welcome here.

Therapy in the Language You Feel In
Many bilingual people find that some feelings only make sense in their first language. A therapist who understands both languages, and the culture behind them, means less time translating and more time getting to the point.
It helps families too. Parents and kids don’t always share a first language, and a bilingual therapist can keep everyone in the conversation.

What Therapy Looks Like Here
Your first few sessions
The first session is mostly you talking and your therapist listening. You can use English, Spanish or a mix, and change your mind later. From there you set goals together and decide how often to meet. Most people start weekly.
How we work
Our therapists use approaches with solid research behind them, including CBT, EMDR, IFS and the Gottman Method. In plain terms, you will figure out what is driving the pattern and get tools to change it.
Not sure where to start? Our client care team can help you figure it out.
Cost and Insurance
Just Mind is in network with Aetna, EHN, Harbor Health, Nomi Health and Sana, and self-pay is always an option. Rates and plan details are on our rates and insurance page.
Online or In Person, Your Call

Short on time?
