Just Mind Counseling is hiring for one of the few full-time psychologist jobs in Austin that comes with a caseload already waiting for you. We are looking for a licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our group practice at our North Austin and South Austin offices. Preference goes to applicants who are fully licensed and have experience in psychological assessments, couples therapy, child and adolescent therapy, neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism), or trauma and EMDR.

Most psychologists who open a private practice in Austin spend their first two years building a referral pipeline. We built ours already. Just Mind has been seeing clients here since 2007 and runs two offices, one on Spicewood Springs in North Austin and one near Westlake in the south.
Marketing, scheduling, third-party billing, and overhead are covered. Your job is the clinical work.
Pay and benefits
This is a W2 employee position with a commission-based pay structure, set as a percentage of billed services. Full-time employees receive health insurance, a 401(k) plan with matching, and an annual training stipend.
You also get peer consultation, continuing education, in-house EMDR consultation, and paid EMDR training in exchange for service.
What does the schedule look like?
Hours and schedule are negotiable, but you should be willing to see 20 or more clients per week, including some weekend or evening hours. Employees can build a hybrid schedule. Demand for in-person work is highest right now, so plan on most of your caseload being onsite.

You can be based at one office or split your week across both. Parking is free at each location, which is not a small thing for a clinician driving between sessions. Both offices sit on major corridors, so the commute works whether you live north, central, or west.
