Dr. Ron Grace is a licensed clinical psychologist with 15+ years of experience working with adults facing various life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflicts, stress, navigating transitions, identity development, parenting issues, autism and ADHD/ADD. Ron is also highly skilled and experienced in counseling couples and families, helping to strengthen communication and increase feelings of connection. His clients consistently report significant improvements in their marriages and family dynamics as a direct result of working with him.

Ron’s style is compassionate, positive, and non-judgmental. He frequently utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing techniques in his work to help people learn to identify and change thought patterns, develop more desirable thoughts and behaviors, and improve overall mood and well-being. Ron has advanced training in CBT for Depression and CBT for Anxiety and enjoys working with each client’s strengths to help them navigate life challenges and setting clear goals.

Ron believes in a collaborative process in which the therapist and client work together to reach their goals in a positive and empowering setting. His approach allows clients to explore patterns, gain insight, and take action toward greater wellness by overcoming inaccurate or unhelpful beliefs and fostering greater self-compassion.

My interest in becoming a psychologist was driven by an overall compassion for humanity and a desire to help people overcome obstacles in their lives.

B.S. in Psychology at West Virginia University and PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University (Washington, DC).
