Madison Wise, LPC Associate – Counselor
(she/her) | Counselor: Adults, Teens
Madison believes that self-expression is a vehicle for growth, healing, and empowerment. She supports clients in identifying and expressing their feelings, wants, and needs through the therapeutic relationship. She views therapy as a place to both tune in to our inner world and zoom out to explore our outer world, looking at the ways our society, culture, and experience shape our internal landscapes. She is passionate about undoing cultural conditioning that teaches us we are less than, and holding space for the many feelings that may entail. Madison enjoys working with adults and teens collaboratively to build skills to better manage emotions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, identity, and trauma – anything that might feel blocked, chaotic, or out of alignment. In addition, she is experienced in working with survivors of abuse and assault.
Madison practices with a relational-cultural approach that is trauma-informed, warm, and supportive as she works with clients to discover their innate strength, resiliency, and joy. She enjoys bringing in creative approaches to healing, and also offers practical psychoeducation, resources, and coping skills for clients.
Madison is supervised by Kimberley Mead, LPC-S.

Over time I realized that I love working with people one-on-one and I’m lit up by deep and meaningful conversations. I believe we all have an innate power within us and therapy helped me embrace my own. I want to hold that space for others.
To witness someone acknowledge and accept a part of themselves they once thought was irredeemable or unlovable is incredible, every time. Being able to offer a space for clients to be their whole selves is an honor.
I enjoy biking, walking, hiking, dancing, practicing yoga, painting, drawing, journaling, and reading. I love spending time by the water, on a porch or patio, and with dear friends. I also love curling up on the couch with a good tv show.
I’ve worked as a holistic health coach, personal assistant, jeweler, technical support assistant, sales associate, summer camp counselor, waitress, and bartender.
