Daniel Crooks, LPC Associate

(He/Him)  |

Counselor:

Adults, Teens

Daniel’s therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, relational neuroscience, and establishing a felt-sense of safety while orienting to the present moment. He believes that everyone has what they need within themselves to find their center, integrate challenging experiences, organize their inner-world, and develop the capacity to relate to themselves and others in a healthy way.

Daniel works with children, teens, and adults of all ages who are dealing with grief, trauma, relational trauma, life transitions, addiction, religious/spiritual trauma, overthinking, self-criticism, body dysmorphia, and gender dysphoria. He uses techniques from Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness Based Therapy (MBT), Sandtray Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing to support clients in their current state. A word he likes to use for the direction of therapeutic work is, “wholeness”.

Daniel is supervised by Eva Escobedo, LPC-S.
