Nancy is an experienced educator with over 20 years of experience in early childhood and middle school education, along with more than 8 years dedicated to counseling in both private and public-school settings. Her extensive background has given her a unique insight into the challenges children face today—whether it’s managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, divorce, building self-esteem, or resolving peer conflicts and stress.
Known for her compassionate approach, Nancy is deeply committed to creating a warm, safe space where each individual feels heard and understood. She believes that a strong therapeutic alliance, built on genuine rapport and empathy, is essential to supporting clients through their personal journeys. With her naturally warm and positive energy, Nancy meets each client at their level, ensuring that her approach is as individualized as the challenges they face.
Nancy enjoys working with children, adolescents and teens. She practices an eclectic blend of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, talk therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and solutions-focused therapy. For her younger clients, she also incorporates play therapy, art therapy, and storytelling—innovative approaches that allow children to express themselves creatively, process their experiences, and build essential emotional resilience in an engaging way. Nancy tailors these interventions to meet each clients’ unique needs, partnering with parents to create a supportive network that fosters growth and resilience.
