Common Needs For Patients

It’s common that patients will struggle with the question of whether they should do medication or therapy. The APA outlined a resource to help guide that decision.

PTSD and trauma are very common in the US. More than 50% of our population has been exposed to a traumatic events and the ACES Study proves without a doubt the lifelong impact of children witnessing trauma by showing the amount of trauma directly correlates with drug abuse, suicide potential, and homelessness. Here are APA resources for clients struggling with PTSD and potential ways to treat it.

  • Resource for clients on the spectrum: Affordable Autism Counseling
  • social skills help
  • stress management with yoga and meditation
  • ADHD help for kids and parents
  • IOP options and PHP, eating disorder and addiction (12 step, who isn’t, rehabs, smart recovery)

Rates and Fees

  • Rates on a sliding scale based upon experience but they roughly go from $90 to $205for our most experienced people. The average rate for individuals will be around $140.
  • We focus on private pay to help expedite people getting care. It allows us to have more openings and get people in more quickly. We also suggest clients use tools like Reimbursify to help file out of network claims.
  • We also offer Single Session Therapy which is $150 per session for individuals and for Couples it’s $165. It’s great for clients who might be more hesitant/resistant to therapy as it’s more like buying a class at the yoga studio than signing up for a membership, if that makes sense.
  • If this seems expensive, here’s a good resource on why therapy is so expensive.
