Matt Murphy, LMFT Associate

(He/Him)  |

Counselor:

Adults, Couples, Families, Parents, Teens, Tweens

Matt has experience working with a variety of adults, couples, children, teens, and their families.  He uses an integrative style of therapy that allows him to adapt to each client using a range of informed approaches such as attachment-focused, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.  His compassionate and person-centered focus creates a safe space for his clients to authentically work on important issues such as relationship conflict, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and much more. He enjoys working with a diverse demographic of people on real human issues.

Matt has felt called to facilitate the empowerment and security of people’s sense of self and relationships once they’re ready to reach out for the guidance and support toward the life they want. He understands from firsthand experience that the process of change can feel slow, tedious, and humbling, but also deeply transformative and rewarding. He’s prepared to patiently and persistently guide his clients through discovering perspectives and practicing skillsets they find useful to reduce their suffering and grow toward their goals.
