Alan combines warmth and empathy with down-to-earth pragmatism and a sense of humor to create a relaxed, informal environment where the spectrum of human experience can be explored in safety and with curiosity. Alan focuses on working with adult individuals struggling with anxiety, anger, depression, process addictions, self-esteem, relationships, and recovery from sexual and physical trauma. He also has experience in working with creatives, young people transitioning into adulthood, and spirituality. He loves walking with clients as they discover their strengths, find their purpose, and move toward their full, embodied potential. Alan is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR Therapy). His primary theoretical lenses are through interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory.
