Intrigued by the intricacies of the human brain and the profound impact of life experiences, Malka has refined her skills for over 14 years in various settings, including mental health agencies, medical institutions, and private practices. Malka specializes in working with individuals facing chronic stress, recent traumatic events, developmental trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, immigration challenges, relationship difficulties, life transitions, attachment issues, loss and grief, anger, shame, and crisis intervention.
Drawing from her extensive training, Malka utilizes modalities such as EMDR, IFS, CBT, Person-Centered, and others to assist clients in processing emotions and accessing internal resources. She is certified in EMDR and IFS trained.
Raised in Mexico City and a resident of Austin since 1997, Malka brings a multicultural perspective to her practice and is fluent in English and Spanish. Her diverse background enhances her ability to connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds, fostering a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment.
