Julie Osofsky, LPC
Julie has more than 11 years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups at outpatient, residential, and inpatient levels of care. Her clinical experience has been in helping individuals with a wide range of issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance-use disorders, eating disorders, self-harm behaviors, self-esteem, relationship struggles, and more. Julie utilizes an integrative approach, and she enjoys providing insight-based therapy coupled with skills-building, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) skills, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, assertiveness training, and education on self-compassion. She values each client as an individual and encourages them to tap into their personal strengths and provide themselves with kindness as they work toward increasing their emotional health.

I have always been drawn to psychology and understanding human behavior. Events in my childhood and early adulthood lead me to the strong desire to help others work through difficult times and gain strength from their struggles.

I love being with friends and family, finding new music to love and reading.
I began my counseling career working inpatient in a psychiatric hospital. I then moved to intensive outpatient counseling of adolescents and their parents. After that I moved into a role in which I developed intensive outpatient programming for young adults, aged 18-24. Since then, I have been working at treatment facilities working with those struggling with addiction and mental illness.
