Madison Flueckiger, LMSW
(She/They) |
Counselor:
Adults, Parents, Teens, Tweens
Madison approaches therapy with authenticity and curiosity. Her goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel seen and heard as they work toward meaningful change. She believes a strong client-therapist fit is essential and treats the work as a true partnership, starting with client-led goals and building a foundation for sustainable growth.
Madison works with a broad range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ issues, and personality and mood disorders. She has a particular interest in working with children and adults with disabilities, including physical and sensory disabilities, and neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities). Madison tailors her approach for each client. She draws from interpersonal neurobiology, Internal Family Systems (parts work), play therapy, expressive arts therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). At the core of her work is helping clients access self-compassion, curiosity, and their own inherent wisdom.
In her work with children, Madison primarily uses play therapy to help children express themselves, understand their emotions, and develop greater awareness of their experiences. She understands the importance of partnering with parents of younger children and provides regular parent consultations and guidance as needed.
Madison is supervised by Erica Sewell, LCSW-S, RPT-S, Certified Autism Specialist.
