What is the cure for anxiety and can you be treated for anxiety?

For most clients, the “cure” for anxiety is growing to understand what causes it and building better coping mechanisms or trying a specific therapeutic approach to manage it. This can be things like breathing techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, biofeedback, EMDR, or a somatic approach. These things work better in the long haul than medication alone. Research shows therapy is 3x more effective than medication.
